We're recruiting an experienced and highly organised Communications Manager to provide maternity cover leading the NFFN's Communications Team until April 2025.

The successful applicant will oversee the delivery of our NFFN Communications Strategy and manage and support our Press Officer and Digital Communications Officer. In leading on the Communications Strategy, this role will devise and deliver specific plans for engaging a range of different audiences, from farmers to politicians and the public.

This position is suited to someone who is an excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to summarise complex information and turn it into impactful copy. You’ll also need to be familiar with multi-channel campaigning and PR techniques, and how to analyse and enhance the NFFN’s output. An understanding of the UK media landscape and how to build external relationships is also an asset, as the NFFN regularly works with journalists and other organisations to promote nature-friendly farming and a just transition for farmers.
