Denise and her family took over Peelham Farm in 1993, where they farm with a focus on supporting birds and pollinating insects. After converting to organic farming following the 2002 CAP reform, they restored hedges and fence lines to create corridors for wildlife, offering food and protection.
Denise believes in balancing productivity for both livelihood and wildlife, highlighting the importance of grant aid in achieving this goal.
